I’m an NYC-based freelance writer covering travel, culture, and food & drink. My work has appeared on Vice, Food & Wine, Esquire, GQ, Forbes, Playboy, Punch, Paper, Saveur, Architectural Digest, Houstonia, Eater, Liquor.com and more. In 2018, I was named Young Drinks Writer of the Year by The Spirits Business.

Beyond writing, I’m the creative director at Madame Vo restaurant group and head of PR at Nguyen Coffee Supply, an importer, roaster, and supplier of coffee from Vietnam. Before all this, I was Deputy Digital Editor at Saveur Magazine and Digital Community & Commercial Editor at Time Out New York. And before that, I bartended at Sasha Petraske’s Middle Branch, and did PR for chefs, restaurants, and nightclubs.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to New York at 16 to study journalism at NYU. I now spend as much time as possible on the road—mostly in Saigon, Vietnam.
